Talida M. Flonta, D.D.S.

General Dentist

Dr. Talida Flonta received her Doctor of Dental Science degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2012, after being trained in her native Romania.  Before joining our group in 2014, she has practiced dentistry in Romania, New York, Hyannis and Osterville.  In addition to her commitment with the Outer Cape Dental Group, Dr. Flonta also owns and maintains an active private practice in Osterville Family Dental.

Gentle, patient and caring, Dr. Flonta takes the time to provide you with the best care possible.  She is also well regarded by her patients for her thoroughness.  Rather than being rushed, you know that she is there to serve your needs and to continue to spread the word about the importance of oral health and its relationship to overall health.

Dr. Flonta has been a Cape Cod summer resident and visitor since 2001.  "I told my parents when I was about 6 years old that I wanted to live in the Untied States.  My first time in the U.S. was here on Cape Cod as a summer student.  I arrived in Orleans in the evening and the next day was the 4th of July.  I went to the parade on Main Street.  It was quintessential summer on Cape Cod.  That was it!  I was hooked!"

Dr. Flonta came to the Cape every summer after that, and in 2005 she returned to the United States for good with her husband Dan, a concert violinist.  The Flontas and their toddler sons became year-round Cape Cod residents–  a goal they have shared since those early student days.
